Have you wanted to take a leisurely stroll to check out the historic buildings on Capitol Hill in Salt Lake City but dont know where to start?
My goal is that this app can help with that!
As part of my degree programme at the University of Utah, I chose to take the awesome free Historic Buildings of Capitol Hill PDF from Preservation Utah and turn it into a hopefully helpful app that would allow me to add things I felt were missing and to make the overall walking tour easier to navigate and more enjoyable.While I havent changed any of the content, I did add the following features to the app to supplement the PDF: • Bullet points to highlight key interesting facts for each building • A map overview to see which building you are at in relation to the others • Ability to click on the image to get a google street-view of the building to help make sure youre looking at the right building • And the ability to have google maps navigate you to the building if youre having difficulty finding it
